A trade association of asphalt roofing manufacturers that publishes technical bulletins and homeowner information about asphalt shingles.
The Asphalt Roofing Manufacturers Association, known as ARMA, describes itself as the trade association for asphalt roofing manufacturers. Its website offers technical bulletins and homeowner-oriented information about shingles, ventilation, algae, installation and care. Because asphalt shingles cover most homes in Middle Tennessee, owners in Nashville can use these resources to learn how shingle roofs are meant to perform.
We are an independent company and are not part of ARMA. We explain in plain language what the association publishes and point you to the official site so you can read it yourself. If you want to understand ventilation, algae streaks or nailing, general manufacturer-industry resources are a useful starting point, and we are glad to show how those ideas apply to your own roof during a Free Estimate.
